Renee K. Collins, a lifelong resident of the Chicagoland area, is principal and founder of RKC Tax & Financial Services, Inc., a full service wealth management firm located in Flossmoor, Illinois. Renee’s education and career has spanned many fields, and thus she is able to provide a multidisciplinary approach to the needs of her clients.
She is a Certified Financial Planner™, a Certified Divorce Financial Analyst™ and licensed Certified Public Accountant with more than 20 years of business experience. In addition, she graduated from Western Illinois University with a Bachelor of Business in Finance, DePaul University's Kellstadt Graduate School of Business with a Master's of Science in Accountancy and Northern Illinois University with a Master's of Science in Taxation.
Renee began her financial services career with Arthur Andersen LLP where she worked as a Tax Specialist providing tax and financial planning services to Fortune 500 company executives. She later transitioned to a mid-sized CPA firm to provide tax preparation, planning and wealth management for business owners and individuals.
Renee takes a comprehensive approach to wealth management, incorporating her tax expertise to provide integrated solutions to clients. Renee advises clients in investment management, college planning, insurance solutions, tax planning, retirement planning, and estate planning.
Renee is committed to the giving back to the community evidenced by her service as a board member of the Family Christian Health Center in Harvey, Illinois; her affiliation with Junior Achievement to provide financial literacy to students; and a volunteer for the Financial Planning Association’s Financial Planning Days.
She is a veteran of the United States Army with a tour of duty in Mannheim, Germany, providing 6 years of military service --- active and reserve duty.
She spends her time reading, running, traveling and taking perpetual golf lessons. She is a single mom to her son, Jason, a graduate of The Ohio State University who also majored in Finance.
